Rolle Students Go to College

The 5th grade students of Rolle Elementary participated in a program hosted by AWC/NAU called I Can Go 2 College (ICG2C).  They were invited on campus to attend 3 classes, meet students and teachers, and receive information about college life.  Students were inspired to dream about how college will play a role in their future.

Superintendent's Message

As we approach the holidays and the end of the first semester, our teachers and students are packing the last days of the semester with engaging and innovative learning activities. As I look around our district, I am grateful for the passionate and dedicated teachers in District ONE who strive to offer students an array of opportunities to learn and to connect that learning to the world around them. I am grateful for the building administrators who lead our schools, support staff who take care of the many important daily responsibilities, allowing teachers to focus on teaching and learning, and the School Board members who chart the course for our District. And I’m grateful for the generous Yuma community that supports our schools, not only by donating, but by volunteering their time and talent to enrich the learning experience for students.

This holiday season, may we all take some time to reflect on our many blessings and express sincere gratitude for the people who enrich our lives and enhance our communities. At Yuma Elementary District ONE we wish you a safe and warm holiday, filled with all the blessings of the season.

Sincerely,

Jamie Sheldahl

Superintendent
