Hanna's Hearts

Shoppers will have the opportunity to find gently used children's clothing, furniture, decor, games, toys and maternity items during Hannah's Hearts Spring Consignment Bazaar and admission is free.
 
 
 
Textiles Transcending-Tyra Shackleford/Margaret Roach
April 3 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
 
Fiber artists and award-winning, Chicksaw members Tyra Shackleford and Margaret Wheeler will be featured in April and May 2018. This is the first time the artists and friends will have a duo-show.
 
DRH Foundation Ladies Lunch-Guest Speaker: Tracey Gold

Guest Speaker is Tracey Gold (from TV series Growing Pains).
Tracey will speak on her battle with eating disorders and gaining her self-esteem.

Oklahoma Shorthorn Association Sale

April 6-7 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

 

The animals will arrive Friday and the sale will be on Saturday.  Sales start:  12:30 pm Saturday.

 

Marty Haggard-A Tribute to

April 7 | Simmons Center

 

Marty Haggard, the oldest son of the legendary Merle Haggard, will be performing a tribute to his dad.  He will share songs written and recorded by his father, accompanied by world-class musicians.  Marty will also share personal stories behind the songs.  Tickets are available at Crutcher's Western Wear, online at MartyHaggardTickets.com or by phone at 1-800-838-3006.

Head over to Main Street in Duncan on Saturday for the 2nd Annual Spring Stroll. 
Local shops on Main Street will open their doors for all the Spring strollers to come see new spring offerings, enjoy in-store specials, live demonstrations, gifts with purchase at selected stores and refreshments allday Saturday during normal business hours.

MidSouth Youth Rodeo Cowboys Association

Foreman Prairie House 100th Birthday Garden Party

The mission of The Prairie House Foundation is to rescue, restore and preserve for posterity the historically and architecturally significant former residence of W. T. Foreman, a banker and pharmacist who was one of Duncan's earliest and most prominent citizens. This stately home was built in 1918

It is that exciting time of year again when the United Way of Stephens County invites volunteers in the community to come together to complete projects for our partner agencies and other nonprofit agencies in the community that need a boost!

 

 

GOP Fish Fry

This is the largest gathering of Oklahoma Republicans every year outside the state convention. It's a must for Oklahoma Republican Politico's. With 1,000 people in previous years we expect this year to be great!

 

 

 

Chisholm Trail Heritage Center's Exhibt-Tales of the Trail

May 24- July 4 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

 

A retrospective look at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center's first 20 years through the eyes of news reporters, photographers, area youth, writers and staff. A collection of newspaper clippings, original photographs, books, published student art and writings and more. The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center opened in 1998. 

 

Peruvian Horse Show

May 25-27 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

 

Come to Duncan and witness as stately Peruvian steeds are put through their paces.

Competitions for the event include combination pole and egg stomp, champagne and costume class, musical performance pairs and a parade of stallions.

 

 

Duncan Fishing & Tackle Show

June 1-2 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

 

Browse fishing equipment and tackle vendor booths to find the newest and best products in the sport of fishing.  Also, visitors will be able to check out displays of antique lures and reels.  This show is put on by the World Association of Tackle Collectors, so you’ll find only the most authentic collections of vintage tackle at the event.  The Fishing & Tackle Show is a great event for fishing enthusiasts of all ages, from novice to expert.

Duncan Little Theatre - Crimes of the Heart

June 7-10 | Simmons Center

 

Duncan Little Theatre presents “Crimes of the Heart”. Beth Henley’s 1981 Pulitzer Prize winning play “Crimes of the Heart” is a story about the three Magrath sisters.  Their troubles, grave and also hilarious, provide a loving picture of three sisters in a touching tribute to family.
Tickets may be purchased at the Simmons Center or at the door.
Performances scheduled June 7-9, 7:30 pm and June 10, 2:30 pm matinee.

Chisholm Trail Arts Council, is pleased to announce their 4th Annual CTAC ArtWalk Duncan (AWD). Through the generous support of local businesses and community volunteers, AWD is an annual fine arts and food festival.

 

 

Founder's Day Tractor Parade

Visit downtown Duncan for the 4th annual Founder's Day Tractor Parade. Beginning at 10 AM, the tractor parade will begin at 12th and Walnut and end at Butterfield's Ballroom and Mercantile (807 W.
