Imprinting the West: Manifest Destiny, Real and Imagined Exhibit
Oct 1-20 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
This exhibit features 48 hand-colored engravings and lithographs that explore these depictions and the influence artists had on the perception of the wild west.
CTAC Art Gallery presents Jim Fatheree w/ guests Clay Cole & Charles Owen

This exhibit will feature artwork from 3 artists with individually unique styles. The featured artist is Jim Fatheree from Duncan OK. His style is full of color and creativity in every piece. Great detail down to the frame itself.
Garis Gallery of the American West feat. Karyn Ortega
Oct 7-Nov 5 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
Lawton artist Karyn Ortega will be the featured artist in the Garis Gallery of the American West at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. Ortega specializes in equestrian and western art. Her work will be available to purchase.
Women's Haven Candlelight Memorial

Women's Haven will host a Candelight Memorial & Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, October 10 in honor of the victims of domestic violence.
Southwest Oklahoma Senior Games

Senior Games is a non-competitive sporting event for seniors age 50 and older. Come out and enjoy the day with breakfast, lunch, and games all morning long.
Ultimate Calf Roping
Oct 14 & Dec 9 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center
Watch as ropers show off their skills at Ultimate Calf Roping, held at the Stephens County Fair & Expo Center in Duncan. The best of the best will be on hand to lasso and tie as quickly as possible, competing against each other’s times. See all the fast-paced action of Ultimate Calf Roping, and cheer on your favorite ropin’ riders.
RAM Prairie Circuit Rodeo Finals
Oct 19-21 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center
The top cowboys and cowgirls in the Prairie Circuit will be competing to win cash prizes and spots to compete in the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo. Spectators will get to see performances in each rodeo event: Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-down Roping and Bull Riding.
Bark in the Park

Bring your furry best friend to a day at the park with fun contests like best pet costume, owner look-a-like, best trick, races, along with activites and food vendors.
9th Annual Family Fall Festival

Bring the kids to the Simmons Center's annual Family Fall Fest for a carnival, games, costume contest, food vendors and more! That evening, adults and teens can get their dose of terror in the Haunted Mansion from 7:00-10:00 PM.
Stephens County GOP Chili Cook Off

This is a great event for the kids to go "trick or treating" and the parents to enjoy some chili! Meet your local elected officials, republican candidates and vote for your favorite chili.
Duncan Little Theatre's Midnight Masquerade

Come celebrate Halloween and have a ghoulishly good time at the 1st ever Duncan Little Theatre Midnight Masquerade on Saturday, Oct 28th from 8 pm to mindnight at Butterfield's Ballroom. Those 21 yrs and older will dance like mummies and vampires to the Boo-T-Ful jams provided by BLH Music Services. Cash bar for those with proper ID. Costumes not required but when else do you get to be a ghoul?

Beginning at 11 AM, Main Street Duncan merchants will have trick-or-treating for the kids in costumes til 1 PM, along with a pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, and more.

Come to the Fairgrounds for a unique shopping experience, with the majority being local, hand-crafted items. Entrance to the show is free.
Relay for Life of Stephens County

This event celebrates our survivors and caregivers while remembering those we love who have lost thier battle with cancer.
Annual Veteran's Parade

Celebrate our veterans during the annual Veterans Day Parade on Main Street.
Simmons Center Silent Christmas Tree & Wreath Auction

The Simmons Center will again be hosting a silent bid Christmas tree & wreath auction in the lobby of the Jack A. Maurer Convention Center, with 100% of the proceeds given to support each organization’s chosen charity. It its sixteenth year, the auction gets bigger and better with decorated trees, wreaths, table and wall décor, and quilts.
National Swine Registry's Fall Classic

This event is the “largest swine show in the world”. Four days of sales and shows with exhibitors from 27 states. This Supreme Showcase event offers more than 400 head of the nation’s breeding stock.
Cowboy Poetry: Campfires, Cattle & Cowboys Gathering
Nov 17 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
Campfires, Cattle, and Cowboys Gathering, a cowboy poetry evening, returns for its third year, Friday, Nov. 17, at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan. Featured artists include nationally-recognized cowboy poet Jay Snider, cowboy poet laureate Francine Roark Robison, Danny Carl Williams, Donnie Poindexter, and the duo of Jim Garling on the guitar and Susanne Woolley on the fiddle. Novice performers get a chance to break in their boots on the stage during open mic session interspersed through the featured performers from 6:00 – 9:00pm. Register that night or call for details.
CTAC LIVE Concert Series presents Vocal Trash

Vocal Trash is an ensemble that performs pop tunes spanning decades, but songs aren't the only things the group recycles. Playing instruments fashioned from trash cans, water bottles and other items salvaged from the landfill, the group's message is reuse and recycle.
Nov 18 | Main Street Duncan
You won't want to miss the 31st annual Holiday Stroll on Main Street Duncan. The Main Street merchants offer snacks and refreshments while the customers stroll from store-to-store. Enjoy carolers, carriage rides, and a chance to see Santa!
Stephens County Rabbit Breeders Show

Stephens County Rabbit Breeders Show will take place in the South Barn. This event takes place Friday evening and Saturday.
905 Christmas in the Park

Duncan Little Theatre presents "Sketches of Christmas"

Duncan Christmas Parade

The annual Duncan Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 2nd. If interested in participating in the parade, please do not hesitate to call the office at 580.252.8696. As always, the Christmas Parade is free to enter and donations are accepted at the registration booth at 12th and Main.
