Apron Strings : Ties to the Past
April 1-May 21 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center
Featuring 51 contemporary and vintage aprons, three dress and five apron try-ons, dating from the 1900s through present, this exhibition chronicles changing attitudes toward women and domestic work.
Celebrating 150 Years of the Chisholm Trail
April 8 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center & Simmons Center

Celebrate the history of the Chisholm Trail - 150 years! This is a "once in a 150 year celebration of the historic Chisholm Trail!" There will be a gala, dinner and auction. The evening begins at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center at 5 p.m. and will move to the Simmons Center for the main event which starts at 6:30 p.m. 

Annual Easter Egg Hunts
April 15 | Moose Lodge & Simmons Center
Bring the kids out to a number of Easter egg hunts. The Simmons Center hunt will begin at 10:00 AM with the Moose Lodge hunt beginning that afternoon at 1:00 PM.
CTAC LIVE Concert Series presents Pelican 212
April 18 | Simmons Center

Enjoy a live performance from Pelican 212, a band featuring 7 of the 10 Rees children, the youngest being 9 and the oldest being in her early 30s.


10th Annual Cruisin' the Chisholm Trail Car & Motorcycle Show

April 21-22 | Mainstreet Duncan


Join us for the 10th Annual Cruisin' the Chisholm Trail Car and Motorcycle Show in downtown Duncan on April 21-22. Over 50 awards in 26 categories including motorcycle and ATV, and more the day of the show plus over 100 vendors!



Ultimate Calf Roping

April 22 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

Watch as ropers show off their skills at Ultimate Calf Roping. The best of the best will be on hand to lasso and tie as quickly as possible, competing against each other’s times.



TwoBulls Challenge Futurity

Come to Duncan for this 3-day rodeo event featuring Bucking Bull games and a Bull & Rider Tournament at the Stephens County Fair and Expo Center!



Duncan's Grove Bluegrass Festival

The festivities begin on Thursday night with a free gospel show and continue on Friday and Saturday with regional and local bluegrass bands. Come for the main music events and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the music stage. Fill your weekend with the sounds and festivities of Duncan's Grove Bluegrass Festival.



Duncan Crafts, Arts & Hobbies Show

Bring the entire family for a wonderful and unique craft show in Duncan, where more than 75% of all items at this event are required to be handmade!



GOP Fish Fry

Peruvian Horse Show

Come to Duncan and witness as stately Peruvian steeds are put through their paces at the Peruvian Horse Show.



Technology of the West: Cowboy Tools of the Trade

June 1-Aug 15 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center


Have you ever wondered why cowboy tools are designed the way they are? This exhibit, Technology of the West: Cowboy Tools of the Trade, will take a look at the tools of the trade used by cowboys. This is the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail cattle drives.



18th Annual Carp Tournament

June 2-3 | Duncan Lake


If you think you have what it takes to catch the biggest carp in Duncan Lake, then mark your calendar for the annual Carp Tournament. This fishing challenge will award prizes to the person who catches the most fish and the person with the largest fish in both an adult category and a youth category for those 16 and under.



Duncan Fishing & Tackle Show

Come check out the vintage, old, used, and new fishing tackle at the Duncan Fishing and Tackle Show! Don't forget to bring your own fishing and tackle goods to be appraised!



ABBI's American Heritage

June 8-10 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


There is no bigger event for 2-year-old bulls than the American Bucking Bull Inc. (ABBI) American Heritage Futurity. With over $300,000 paid out last year at the two-day event, the American Heritage is the must-enter event for ABBI stock contractors each season. The winning bull typically takes home a check for about $100,000.



Duncan Little Theatre presents "35 Years of DLT Memories"

June 9-11 | Simmons Center


Duncan Little Theatre's "35 years of DLT Memories" looks back at 35 years of plays, musicals, and performances with highlights through the years. Special appearances by long time performers and directors. Performances are Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 with a matinee on Sunday at 2:00 pm.



Oklahoma Freewheel

June 12-13 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center


Oklahoma Freewheel will be rolling through Oklahoma, June 11-17; and will be at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan, June 12 to celebrate the Chisholm Trail 150th. The riders will be camping out in Comanche the night before, and then rolling in to Duncan throughout the day Monday, June 12, and spend the night on the grounds of the Heritage Center, before starting the next leg of their journey Tuesday, June 13.



Friday Night Car Cruise

June 23 | Main Street Duncan


Each quarter, Main Street Duncan offers a Friday Night Car Cruise around downtown to allow the opportunity for those car enthusiasts to cruise Main Street.




Founders Day Celebration

June 23-24 | Citywide Duncan
