Symbiosis on the Chisholm Trail: Jennifer Cocoma Hustis Artist Exhibit
Jan 5-22 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

Jennifer Cocoma Hustis, an Edmond artist, will have her work on display at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. Hustis is known for her large dramatic paintings of horses and also creates mixed media assemblages. 

Evening with the Artist: Janet Loveless and Guests
Jan 12 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

Janet, a Marlow resident, will have approximately 30 oil paintings on display and for sale along with the oil paintings of Neta Kelly and pottery by Jo Ann Manke.

Ultimate Calf Roping

March 11-12 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center

Watch as ropers show off their skills at Ultimate Calf Roping. The best of the best will be on hand to lasso and tie as quickly as possible, competing against each other’s times.

Cowpokes & Brush Strokes
Jan 16 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

Creativity for Kids, ages 2-4 and their big person. A hands-on arts and music adventure for kids to explore the process of becoming creative individuals.


Cameron University Recital & Reception

Recital featuring Cameron University’s Hyunsoon Whang, McMahon Endowed Chair and Professor of Music, at 7:30 p.m. in the Simmons Center Theatre.



CTAC LIVE Concert Series presents The St. Louis Big Band

The St. Louis Big Band seeks to embody the spirit, energy, and passion that originally brought big band mujsic to the forefront of popular music. Performance begins at 7:30 PM.



HOYRA Youth Rodeo

HOYRA is open to all young people 18 years of age and under.  With four (4) different age groups, HOYRA offers Barrels, Poles, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Ribbon Roping, Tie-Down Calf Roping, Steer Breakaway, Steer Stopping and Team Roping.



She Is Safe Artfest: Celebrating Families

Come paint a picture, make jewelry, hear local musicians, enjoy a dance team, and watch a drama. Also, you will have opportunity to bid on art pieces or local business donations.



Stephens County Coin Show

Feb 10-11 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


Find out what your treasured coins are worth or hunt down the elusive coin you’ve been searching for. This coin show features antique coins and more from all over the United States.



Oklahoma Horse Fair

Feb 11-12 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


Since 2003, this two day celebration of horses featuring ponies, miniature horses, clinics, demonstrations, western ranch horses, and a western trade show. Featuring the Chisholm Trail rodeo, Rock Horse Competition, Select Horse, Mule and Pony sale and more. 



Duncan Little Theatre presents "Into the Woods"

Feb 17-18/24-25 | Simmons Center


In this magical musical, a witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from clasic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree. Directed by Veronica Hodgson. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors/military/students and available at the Simmons Center Box Office, online, or at the door.



78th Annual Stephens County Jr. Livestock Show

Feb 27-March 3 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


During the 78th annual event, youth from local 4H and FFA chapters may participate.



Youth Art Month

March 1-31 | Chisholm Trail Heritage Center


Celebrating National Youth Art Month during March, the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center serves as regional site host for high school art from schools in Stephens County and Jefferson County.



Stampede the Trail 5k and Half Marathon

March 4 | Simmons Center


The 3rd Annual “Stampede the Trail” 5k and 1/2 Marathon, benefitting DRH Health Foundation and the Simmons Center. More information and registration available at the Simmons Center.



Cameron University Art Exhibit

March 7-29 | Simmons Center


Classical drawings created by students in the Drawing I and II classes executed in graphite, charcoal and pastel will be displayed as well as expressive and interpretive drawings from the Advanced Drawing and Figure Drawing classes through March 29.



Stephens County Rabbit Show

March 17-18 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


Stephens County Rabbit Breeders Show will take place in the South Barn.  This event takes place Friday evening and Saturday.



Friday Night Car Cruise

March 24 | Main Street Duncan


Each quarter, Main Street Duncan offers a Friday Night Car Cruise around downtown to allow the opportunity for those car enthusiasts to cruise Main Street.




Duncan Automotive Swap Meet

March 24-25 | Stephens County Fair & Expo Center


The Duncan Swap Meet is a strong muscle car and antique car tradition in the area with many car clubs and enthusiasts.
